Plan the terminal journey
| Part of your journey | Where to go |
|---|---|
| Departures and security | Upper terminal level; allow time for parking and any shuttle first. |
| Arrivals and baggage claim | Lower terminal level; follow your operator’s return pickup instructions. |
| Airport-operated garage and lots | Use official parking signs and the current BUF parking rates guide . |
| Off-airport parking reservation | Drive first to the facility address on your confirmation; use the parking address guide . |
Buffalo Niagara International Airport uses the code BUF. Departures and security are on the upper level; arrivals and baggage claim are on the lower level. Check your airline’s current check-in guidance and allow time for parking and any transfer before reaching the terminal.
Being close to the terminal does not establish a safe pedestrian route from a hotel. Use the transfer arrangements included in your booking or arrange another suitable ride. Compare terminal-visit parking and long-term parking for different journeys.

Passenger facilities and assistance
The airport lists free Wi-Fi, device charging, pet relief areas and an information desk near baggage claim. Use the current directory to locate facilities and ask your airline in advance about passenger assistance.
Check the lounge guide for The Club BUF and other facilities. A lounge booking does not replace airline check-in or security, and access depends on the selected pass and operating conditions.
Ground transport and nearby hotels
Follow current terminal signs for hotel transfers, airport parking shuttles, taxis, rental cars and other ground transport. Confirm the meeting point with your provider; a pickup instruction from another hotel or parking product may not apply.
Compare nearby Buffalo airport hotels if your itinerary includes an early flight or late arrival. Confirm the room’s parking entitlement before leaving a car during a trip.
